Responsibilities
- Operate in a nimble development environment with a team on large projects or individually on smaller projects.
- Maintain and improve existing code, as well as create new standards-compliant code.
- Write and test cross-browser compatible code.
Qualifications
- An expert knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS, and the DOM.
- Extensive experience using third-party libraries including jQuery, Prototype, and MooTools.
- Must exhibit a strong conceptual understanding of asynchronous code, prototypal inheritance, closures, and variable scope.
- An understanding of and experience with cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience working with projects involving .NET and PHP frameworks including Sitecore, Drupal, and Zend is a plus, but not required.
- Mobile and server-side Javascript experience a plus.
