Account and Project Management
- Create, maintain and proactively manage schedules and status documents to track project progress on a daily basis. (Ex. A date is moved, a revised schedule is distributed both internally and externally with explanation as to what has shifted.)
- Follow appropriate estimating and budgeting procedures.
- Document all project notes, meeting minutes, changes, etc. in a place where team members can access them. Ensure that all details are captured and necessary actions are taken in a timely manner. The document should have Agreements/Open Issues/Next steps and be communicated to clients.
- Manage internal expectations with teammates and supervisors around projects' status and resources. This includes updates to key team members (project engagement leads, resource manager, department leads) informed of important issues, such as potential new projects, upcoming schedule changes, other challenges or big wins.
- Keep to dates and follow through with commitments made internally and to clients.
- View assignments in their relative importance and handle multiple projects with effective time management and prioritization.
- Ask clarifying questions to ensure that next steps and timelines are clear.
- Marshaling resources around the agency to meet schedules and budgets while delivering great creative.
Client Partnership
- Proactively inform clients of new ideas, upcoming key dates in their respective schedules.
- Build relationships with the clients, inspire their confidence in working with Genuine/their trust that we will deliver great creative that will move their business forward.
- Demonstrate professionalism in communication, punctuality, follow-through, and commitment to the clients' business.
- For particular projects, manage the day-to-day communication with the appropriate client.
